The Space Academy was hollowed from an asteroid floating in space. Consisting of a series of towers and domed buildings, the structure seemed geared to house a much larger population than the one shown in the series. The producers likely intended to increase the characters and wanted the room to expand.

Seen up close, the detail of some of the landing locations seen in the short series left quite a bit to be desired.

Undoubtedly, the best product of this short-lived series was the Seeker spacecraft. Modeled after a van, the Seeker was a practical transport craft well designed for use in any show.

The Seeker cockpit was loosely modeled after the Star Trek original series shuttlecraft, although its detailing was mimicked from the British series Space 1999.
